Is there a way to edit multiple items in pos 2009? I have about 6000 items imported that I need to assign to a Dept. then multiple Cat's. How can I do that? Don?t know if it?s ok to ask more than 1? At a time but: -on a side note can I have some of those items "Active & Inactive"? Of these 6000 items, only about 1/2 is actually in my inventory but, at some point almost all of them will be. This was an import from a vendor for all their products. I don?t know if having them all in there will slow things down or not? Not that big a deal with 6000 items but I have a Book DB coming with about 1,000,000. titles in it.
It would be nice to have them all accessible but only search through the ones that I have a physical On hand Count for. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
