I am planning on having 2 lanes in my store. I currently have a single lane dongle but ordered another. Will this work for 2 lanes with each lane having a single lane dongle?

Nope, only one dongle per database. You need to send your original in and get a 2 lane dongle.

I don't know if they will do this MS's policy is usually to force you to buy another lane. They certainly won't split one up (in my case)...
If it comes to them forcing you to buy another lane, I'd look into getting an emulator instead... (google "dongle emulator") Plus you don't have to worry about theft of the dongle.
