I have a customer that wants a much more simplified statement. She wants to show open invoices and total balance due. She thinks listing everything, debit, credits and balance due creates a statement that is too cluttered. Is this a practical possibility? Any ideas? Thanks for your time and knowledge.

All you have to do is modify the Statement.xml file and take off what you don't need.
But I don't know enough about it to tell you how.
