off-line mode

Does anyone know how this works?????



Ok, while running RMS the server goes down.



  1. the RMS User logs out and restarts RMS to connect to off-line mode
  2. The user works until the Server is back on line
  3. The user logs out and retstarts RMS to connect to on-line mode
  4. The dtabase syncs.
  5. Now the Z reports for the lane is not in balance No opening balances no closing balances., sales are not listed for the time prior to the off-line mode, etc. etc.

what is the step we ar missing?

After backing to on-line mode, by default a new batch will be added automatically which is no balances and other data that you used to fill it.

you have to check "Blind Closed Batch" from Journal | Update Batch Info.
