Point of Sale, SP1

Has anyone installed SP1? If so, any problems that you are aware of?

I've installed SP1, SP2, and SP3 without any trouble. The nice thing about SP2 & SP3 is they have a real installer now.

Don't forget the SQL/MSDE SP3a patch too (version specific - get the right one)!

"Point of Sale" is a separate product from "Retail Management System Store Operations" which does have a component called Point of Sale or POS. Point of Sale is a relatively new product and SP1 is the only update released so far. I haven't heard about any issues with SP1. In this product line, "Service Packs" are typically tested thoroughly by MS before they are released - "Hot Fixes" are not exactly untested, but they haven't been through as much validation. For RMS, I have always advised my clients to install all of the service packs, but leave the Hot Fixes alone UNLESS they address a specific issue that client is experiencing.
