ICVERIFY & Pinpad in RMS

Hi,



I just switched from Citibank to Firstdata for my credit/debit transactions. I am having problem processing debit cards. Every time I try, I get an error message as follows:



Store Operations has not been configured to process debit cards.



I am using ICVERIFY multi user (version: 3.1 R6) to process my credit cards.



Here is what I have done so far. Got pin pads(Verifone 1000SE) encrypted from Firstdata. Installed them on the registers thru serial port. Configured and tested pinpads using "Configure Microsoft OPOS service objects" in RMS. Added pinpads to the registers thru Manager Restarted the computers I am running RMS with SP3



I have looked for help in MS knowledge base, but have not found anything to guide me.



Any help is greatly appreciated.

Debit is ONLY Supported by RMS using the "Preferred Provider" or "Citbank" integration.

To process Debit using ICVerify, you will need to switch out of RMS and into the IC Verify interface - IC Verify and PC Charge are both credit only integrations. TPI Systems has an add-in that handles both Credit and Debit through various providers - no idea if First Data is one of them.
