Price Lower bound

when we were imported our inventory from previous system into RMS we had some items whose price was lower than the cost and we have a trigger to automatically calculate lower bound for product from its cost. when an item whose price is lower than the lower bound how can i set the RMS to automatically use lower bound instead of price.
