I sell classes and would like the date and time of the class to print on the receipt. We ring each class as a different item. Is there some way to print a note on the receipt for certain items? Thanks for any info. This would help us a lot! Daniela Stout Cozy Quilt Shop

How about Sub Descriptions? First Sub is the Date, Second is the Time.
To make them print and display, SO Manager | File | Configuration | Options tab | Items options | checkmark Show Item Subdescriptions and/or Show previous defined...
Thanks, Jeff. It worked! I had tried the same thing with "Notes." I tested it at home by ringing a transaction and viewing it in the Journal. (I don't have a printer at home) I didn't see the date and time, so I thought it failed. But when I tried it at the actualy POS, it was there on the receipt. Both notes and sub descriptions work great. I'm going with your sub description suggestion, which will give me one field for date and one for time, reducing the chance of my info getting cut off by the printer. Thanks again.
