Hello, I am wondering if RMS 1.2 will run on SQL 2005? Are there any known issues or advice I nee dto take into consideration?
I would like to upgrade my HQ server to SQL 2005. Do I need to upgrade all of our store servers as well? They are currently running MSDE on Server 2003.

According to MS, the testing is not complete so it is still considered an unsupported configuration. Several users have posted that they are running RMS on SQL 2005 in *TEST* environments without issues. If you want help from MS tech support with any issues that may come up, I would NOT go to SQL
2005 until they certify it...No. RMS 1.2 doesn not support SQL 2005. Neither does RMS 1.3.
One would imagine that SQL 2005 support must be in the works, but who knows how soon it'll be released.
