Microsoft RMS/Terminal Server/QuickBooks Compatibility

Hello,

I am trying to find out if anyone has any experience running the current Microsoft RMS (Retail Management System) in a Windows 2003 Terminal Server environment.

We are currently using RMS 1.6 this way but would like to upgrade to the latest version. We also want to make sure we are 100% legitimate license-wise.

Our configuration will be like this:

Server 1: Windows 2003 Domain Controller Server 2: Windows 2003/SQL 2005 Server Server 3: Windows 2003 Terminal Server

Workstations (clients): HP Thin Clients using RDP (Remote Desktop)

We want to be able to have the workstations connect to the Windows 2003 Terminal Server and access RMS from there. Each user connecting and running RMS would need to be able to be uniquely identifiable when connected.

We also want to integrate QuickBooks Enterprise 2007 with RMS.

Any advice or help is appreciated.

Thank you,

John Bennett
