Will I have any problems importing/integrating RMS data to Quickbooks 2008? I am currently looking to upgrade from Quickbooks 2005. I know that RMS 2.0 is compatible with QB 2007 but what about QB 2008?

I had no problems after I upgraded to QB2008. Craig
Just wanted to let everyone know I have just finished integrating the Quickbooks 2008 Pro Canadian version with RMS 2.0 (Direct mode), this includes PO export as bill, I was using 2006 which didn?t allow you to do the direct integration it was all iif files. It?s sad that before this I tried Microsoft financial software and it didn?t do the same integration, I would have thought a Microsoft application would work better with RMS but that?s apparently silly thinking on my part.

RB, I am trying to integrate QB Premier 2007: Retail Edition Canadian version with RMS2.0 without success so far - can you share the integration steps?
Thank you Chris

First I opened Quickbooks 2008 Pro and logged in as the admin to the quickbooks file (we have separate accounts for each user)
Then I opened SO Manager > Configuration > Accounting ? Accounting Software: Quicbooks 2003 and Later, then clicked retrieve, (in quickbooks it asks is it okay if the program accesses your company file i allowed it to access everything) it finished by copying the company name and all was good, I then went to Utilities > Import Quickbooks, this brings the account numbers etc in, I didn?t import the vendors or customers because I had already set them up in RMS.
In the older versions of Quickbooks when I hit retrieve it wouldn?t work so I?m not 100% sure 2007 will I only tired 2006 before this
Hope this helps

Doug,
I am in the same boat -- HQ and looking for accounting software that integrates. I am still running 1.3R so I may have more trouble.
Has anyone found a solution that works well?
Thanks,
Dan
