Can you confirm that it is safe for all Window XP SP2 users who haven't installed SP3, it is now safe following the installation of hotfix 952287 (as per your links) to go ahead and install SP3 via the Microsoft Update website?

I can not install this patch because of the following error:

"Setup cannot update your Windows XP files because the language installed on your system is different from the update language"

I´m in Mexico, and my system has Español (México) - Spanish (Mexico). I can´t find any spanish version at the KB952287 page

Any ideas?
