Are you talking about integrating RMS with your website? If yes, try...

Or search the ng for 'web' and you should find more integration tools.

Otherwise please explain a little more about what you are asking.

You are describing Web Integration with RMS SO and NitroASL can provide you with that. Like I said before there are other companies that also provide Web Integration solutions. You can email Todd Jensen at snipped-for-privacy@nitrosell.com and talk with him about there Reseller program for RMS Partners. Also if you are new to the ng's then you may want to look at posting these types of questions on the Private and Managed Partner NG's, just log into PartnerSource for instructions on how to access them.

I've done a number of searches as well on this forum and haven't really found a whole lot of information about web connectivity with RMS so I have done some research of my own. I have found 5 companies that provide the software for web integration that I'm interested in. All of them are able to integrate with a shopping cart and populate the fields with your items from RMS. Your orders go straight to RMS POS for processing. We have at least

20,000 items we want to put online. The pricing for each is based on this requirement. I am pulling the trigger on one of them by next week.

The first 3, kosmos, lan services and Storefront use the web integrator from Newest Technologies

Kosmos uses X-cart for their web interface and you can host it yourself or have them host it. They have some templates but leave most of the customization to you. Good choice if you do your own web site customization. They do customizations for a fee.

lan services has their own web interface. You can host it yourself by buying the software for an additional $500.00. They offer more customized templates out of the box. Good choice if you don't have the resources or want to bother with design customizations.

Storefront uses the storefront web software. Due to cost and what I have read about implementation, I haven't really dug into their software.

I have heard some people have smooth installs with Newest web integrator and some have had a rough go of it.

Kosmos - $2495.00. and you own the software. 200/year - $17.00/month hosted. Lan Services - $2595 license fee. $99.00/month hosted. $500 more to own the software to host it yourself. Storefront - Have heard that customized its at least $3500.00 or more.

Ones that don't use Newest Web Integrator.

Nitrosell - $900 license fee. Hosted solution - pricing depends on number of items. Nice interface but cannot connect directly to UPS to populate shipping cost online. They say there are integrating it. We have 20,000 skus and its $650/ month. A bit pricey if you ask me.

EVT Solutions - $400 license fee. Hosted Solution. $230/ month. Sounds pretty promising. Checking out their demo soon.

For the price, it looks like Kosmos has them beat.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

i admire your time and effort put into researching for the right solution. i would like to clarify a bit about our solution - RMScart.

you are right about the price being $2595 BUT it gets you a COMPLETE solution. we custom design the eCommerce website or integrate it into your existing site, we help you install - remotely- all the necessary components WITHOUT charging you more. this includes installing the Web Integrator, setting up RMScart - either on our server or yours, help you upload the inventory to RMScart, test the entire setup and provide you any training - again without any additional cost. training also includes how to use SEO features built into our shopping cart.

We have listen to our customers' requests. we have introduced two more hosting options - $39 per month and $59 per month. although in your case, i suggest you getting a dedicated server. (about $299 per month) since you have a lot of items.

RMScart is an MS-SQL based product. so you don't have to worry about compatibility or learning other tools to get the job done.

to make it easier for you to decide, i offer you a 10% discount if you make your move before the end of the month (Feb 28). this discount applies to any of the packages you choose.

thanks much,
