rms restore stopped abnormally

hi all,

if tried to create database in the sql server it shows to me that massege in log file:

BackupDiskFile::OpenMedia: Backup device 'C:\Documents and Settings\ali ahmed\Desktop\rms-backup\12-12-05rashid.bck' failed to open. Operating system error = 3(error not found).

BackupDiskFile::OpenMedia: Backup device '\\192.168.10.113\ali ahmed\Desktop\rms-backup\12-12-05rashid.bck' failed to open. Operating system error = 5(Access is denied).

BackupDiskFile::OpenMedia: Backup device 'C:\Documents and Settings\ali ahmed\Desktop\rms-backup\12-12-05rashid.bck' failed to open. Operating system error = 3(The system connot find the path specified).

*for the firt messege i tried to create it from the same location where the sql is located.

*for the second messege i tried it from remote location other than the sql location.

*for the 3rd time i trid it from application system.

i need help on creating that database, mention its store operation database.

alt,

I would try posting into the SQL or MSDE group as looking real quickly, I can't find your error=3 message from your first attempt to restore, which is probably the most correct one.

Try;

microsoft.public.sqlserver

microsoft.public.sqlserver.msde

looks like a permissions problem. make sure the user account trying to perform the operation has authority/permission to perform the operation on the destination device/file.
