Rounding % Discount to nearest dollar

Is there any way to give a percentage discount for the entire sale and have it round to the nearest(lowest) dollar?



Certain customers have discount coupons - i.e. 15% discount off entire purchase...



Our sellers depend on speed - i.e. concert merchandise environment - and quite frankly having to deal with change would slow things down way too much.



I suppose worst case scenario I could write a stored proceedure to set Price Levels of all items to the lowest dollar of 15% - just thought there might be an easier way...

I have had to write a query to make this change for other clients. You could also use the 'Round to value' option in the tender type properties to ensure that all sales are rounded to the nearist dollar.

Didn't realize you could do that with tender type - but by doing that - does it round up or down?

i.e. - $3.43 becomes $3.00

We would want to round do to benefit our customers....
