You can either change the height of the HTML status bar or hide it completely by pressing Ctrl + F6 and selecting the "Transaction Screen" tab and under "Options" you will have the ability to customize the settings.

Speaking of making changes to the display...

I would like to make the "Total" figure on the POS screen MUCH LARGER so that the figures can be easily seen by customers of advanced age as well as the rest of us! What does one do now...or when can we expect this feature to become available.
