Is there a way of showing the bin location of an item on the POS screen? We look up parts w/bin locations quite a bit and would like to be able to see the location when we enter the ILC on the POS screen.

Go to Store Manager> Click on File >Then click on Configuration Click on Option Tab and then click on POS Option go below you will find: Show Bin Location on Pole Display make it checked. Then if you wanted to show the bin location printed on receipt also you can use the Entry.Item.Binlocation variable to print the bin location on receipt.

That works if I needed the bin location shown to the customer, but I am looking for a way to show this location on the POS screen, only viewable to the person behind the counter. Even if it can't be added to the input screen, is there a way a macro could be programmed to show this when needed?

You could turn on the HTML window at the top of the POS screen and then modify it to display Bin location.

If you look in RMS Administrator, under the Configuration window and on the Register tab you will see a path and filename for "web status". You can modify this HTML file to use QSBridge and QSRules for all kinds of things. However the documentation for it (customization guide) is only available via PartnerSource.
