Item Lookup for POS

I'd like to find an addon for POS that makes it look more like a web interface. Instead of having to look up item numbers during a sale, I'd like to be able to see a screen that looks like a web browser with categories that you can drill down to subcategories until you get to the right part. It would look much like a web store.



Has anyone seen or developed anything like this for POS?

find that using multiple filters is a bit cumbersome with my storeand instead find the search box much more useful. PowerOps also has a great tool for creating and editing matrices.
