I am curious to know if someone knows where the sql connect info is stored. Then it would be easy to change it on the fly with some vb. I remember Quicksell had an ini in the windows file.

In the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Retail Management System\Store Operations\Server\Database "Data Source" is the database server name "Initial Catalog" is database name. Actually the data is stored in encrypted format, but you can overwrite it with the plain text. When you start and close POS, data is encrypted again. I made scripts that overwrite these values to start POS in different databases.
