Is there any way to see a 2 line description for each purchased item on the receipt whereas the 2nd line shows the sub descriptions?

If you have the Show SubDescriptions option set in SO Manager --> Configuration --> Options tab --> Item Options and if your reset is set to wrap, that should get your SubDescriptions on the receipt. But this will put all the SubDescriptions on the receipt. Your other option would be to customize the receipt and add a line for Entry.SubDescription1, Entry.SubDescription2 or Entry.SubDescription3.
