Still gives me expiration msg after upgrading from eval to full pr

The databases were created on the evaluation copies of HQ and POS. I started using them and then purchased a license for each, I installed the dongles in the back of the pc but I still have the expiration date message. What can I do in order not to have the message again? I need to keep the data I had on the evaluation databases. Thank you. Rami

You say "the PC"... I believe that you need the HQ and SO dongles on different systems, so that may be your problem.

If not, are you using Parallel or USB Dongles? Sometimes you need to modify settings, or even adjust the Port type in the System BIOS to get the parallel to work - I believe there is a knowledgebase article on this. The USB dongles should be detected by the system when you plug them in and auto install their drivers.

With either dongle type, one the dongle is recognized, the HQ Dongle should be installed on the system running HQ Server. The SO Dongle should be installed on a register. For SO, close ALL connections to Store Ops form all systems - SO Manager and POS. Open POS on the register with the dongle. You need to open POS first on this machine EVERY DAY.
