store ops shuts down in the middle of a sale

What version of Store Ops are you running ? Update RMS to Sevice pack 3.

It's a good idea apply SP3 anyways.

We need more details about your problem ..

When does RMS crash? Are you typing an ILC in to the transaction window, or in to a find window? Does it crash while you're typing the code or when you press enter?

What happens when it crashes? Does it just close without warning? Is there an error message?

Is there anything in your Windows Event Log?

I guess removing the scale didn't fix anything?

Does this error happen every time you use a weighted item, or only sometimes? Does it happen for one specific weighted ILCs (or maybe a group of them) or all weighted ILCs? You might have to look as see if there is anything in common between the weighted ILCs that cause the crash.

Unforunately I havn't had to use weighted items before, so I'm not familiar with how they interact with scales.
