strange behavior when tendering a quote

Apr 12, 2006 2 Replies

On one of our registers, when we tender a quote to save it (or tender a recalled quote to save the changes made to it), The tender screen is telling us that there is an amount due. And the amount is not the total amount from the items on the quote. Rather it is an even whole dollar amount, in the case of one particular quote, it was $300, and there are not items that separately or added together add up to $300 even. I verified that in Manager under Configuration - Options - POS Options, "Save tender information with Quotes" is unchecked.

However, if I close the tender screen, press ctrl+F1 to change the transaction to Sale, and ctrl+F1 to change back to a quote, and then Tender it, the amount due is no longer there. Very strange.

Anyone else ran into this issue? Is there a previous hotfix that fixed this? We are using 1.2.0171

Thanks, Kevin

It seems that you have a few different issues going one with one of your registers. Is this the same reigister with the F9 drawner popping.

You said that you updated and then you got these problems. Make sure that all your registers all have the same verision of the program on them.

Also, you say you are using 1.2.0171 is this the same version on every machine you should upgrade to the latest verison or install the newer hotfixes.

RMS in currently verison 1.3 now

Fabiano, I think you have me confused with Krista, who posted previously that she was having the issue with her cash drawer popping when she presses F9. I am not having that issue, and I did not do any updates that would be causing this problem
