Time Clock - Employee Departments & Auto clock in / out

Hi,



Is there a way to have employees clock in/out under different departments. i.e. they'd work in service in the morning and then sales in the afternoon.



Also, can the system monitor employees so that if they start using RMS but haven't clocked in, they are remined. Conversely, if they forgot to clock out, the system automatically clock's them out at the end of the day for the last time they were in the system. The employee would have to be notified then next time they clocked in about the auto time correction.

Hi Ron,

I dont think the standard features can let you do clock in/out under different departments. but if giving employee multiple users IDs, for example

1001 for employee 1 at sales, 2001 for the same person at service. then a customised report do timesheet summary job.

Auto clock in / out when it's missed and notifying message are also doable, but needs some programming.

Ron, We have a stand along program called RITE Time Clock that interacts with the RMS Time Clock system outside of RMS. I think it would not take a whole lot to add the concept of different departments or skill codes I have seen them called as well. If you are interested, please give me a call at
