When were Opening Amounts Entered

We are trying to track down exact time when opening amounts were entered. Is there anything, report or other that would show exact movement on a locations computer specific to "Enter Opening Amounts". I know in the View> Journals we can semi drill down, and in Reports> Misc> Batch List we can select a batch; however, our POS opens immediately after it is closed, so, while it lists exact closing times, it does not list exact opening times.

Is this a config in our set up that should be done differently? Should we have it somehow not auto open immediately after it is closed? If so, is that under SO Mgr> File> Config?

Pros/Cons...?

That is where I was actually looking, but I think I got confused by all of the ways I was trying to report against it. Yes, they should enter opening amounts when they get in, but, again, they should get in at time and clock in truthfully as well. Basically, not sure they do.

I guess I would like to see the Cashier Log be a little more detailed as to what exactly is being done, which I guess that would lend to a new name, like RMS Activities Log...?

I would like to know what pieces of RMS are being utilized. Like today, I was looking into a transfer order, trying to figure out who was responsible for transferring in the 10,000,000+ quantities of one line item (because they scanned the ticket in the qty field). All I know, based on the Cashier Log is that three persons had activity on the computer at/around the time the order was closed.

Additionally, we used to have locations that would come in late/leave early and manipulate their Clock In/Out by changing the system time. I locked the display so they can not do that. However, we have managers that fail to set up employees correctly as a cashier (even though Copy is the only option), so some associates have access to change their punch in/out.

I think I would just like to know more detail. Like it would list the time like it has, but then it would say stuff like the following: Sale, Return, No Sale (I know these are listed in the Journal), Physical Inv (other report), Transfer Out + xfer #, etc.

Not sure exactly why, but I think I would like to see it more complete. I do not really ever have to look at/for it, but when I do, it is usually because something not good is/has happened and someone with letters in their title is asking for it.

Maybe I will suggest this.

Thanks, aga> Jocelyn,
