touchscreen monitor

This may sound like a stupid question, but I've never looked at touchscreen before so I know nothing about it. If I get a touchscreen monitor does all the custom buttons and the buttons on the bottom, that I currently use a mouse to click on, work when you touch them on the monitor? If that is the case I will definitly get one, so does anyone have any recommendations on brand? Craig

The touch screen is basically a mouse, so yes, all of the buttons work just as if you had clicked them with any other device. That's not the way RMS is generally used with a touchscreen though...

Go to SO Manager, Database/Registers/Keyboards

This is where you can create a custom keybord to be displayed on POS. THis keyboard typically is used in place of the function keys. Just get into the Keyboard function, then click the Help button and you should get to an overview of creating and displaying the touch screen keyboard.

Also, this has been discussed many times, so search the newsgroup for more help...
