use RMS in a pet store

Is anyone using RMS in a pet store that also does grooming and boarding? Obviously using it in a normal pet store is no problem, but I am looking for some add ins that can manage the grooming and the boarding parts of the business. Any ideas?

Thanks, Lonnie

I run a pet store with grooming, and have been using RMS for years. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any add-ins that facilitate tracking appointments within RMS. We used the calendar function for a little while, but it was very clunky and not real easy. Currently we use a program called pro schedule to handle our appointments, and it works very well except that it's a separate program. Which means double entry of customers to track them in both programs. I asked around a while back and had a few people tell me they could integrate pro schedule with RMS, but it would be expensive. You might contact POSitive Technology on this. They have a Salon Appointment Module (SAM)...it was designed to schedule appointments for hair stylists but it might work for pets as well...not too sure how the boarding would work, but it might be worth making an inquiry.
