Warning 919 OPOS driver error

Dec 31, 2007 3 Replies

I recently got a new back office (not POS) PC and during the setup of it, acquired a new error message when I launch RMS Manager. It says "Warning 919 : The printer OPOS driver was not found. Do you wish to continue?" I just click Yes and everything is OK, but I'd like to eliminate that error during every launch of Manager.

I was wondering if I accidentally installed Store Operations on this PC and that is the reason.

Help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Please Cc: me your replies please.

hi Bikes,

go to SO Manager , yes do the "YES" upon warrning, the go to Database > Registers> and click the Register Properties, see the Printer tab and check what has been specified, it seems that the printer name specificed there is not the one you have, so make sure your OPOS is compaitable with RMS and works. if you uncheck the printer or remove the printer name this message will gone but again this won't print the receipt on receipt printer. so better to check what printer you have.

Hey OlyBikes,

Also, this may be a symptom of not having set up an individual entry for each of the registers in your store. You want to always make sure that your registers have unique ID's in the system, even if they are just "Manager" machines.
