Does anyone know if RMS will run on Windows Media Center PCs or if I need XP Pro? My register died this week and I am having hard time finding a new computer that has XP Pro, 1 GB ram, 1 Serial Port, 1 Parallel Port, 2 PS2 ports, and USB ports. They all sytem to be running Windows Media Center instead.
Yep but not recommended. In fact any windows XP will work. Pro is just has better networking built in. Go to local PC guys and have them build you one. "

you _exactly_ what you need, instead of the trash most major OEMs, Dell, HP, Gateway, etc are pushing nowadays.
of the trash programs the OEMs installed, slowing down the computers to a crawl. ;-)
