Working offline

When I try to work off-line with one of my POS stations (we have upgraded to RMS 2.0) I get an error message:

Store Operations Business Rules Can't connect to database

I'm expecting it to automatically connect the off-line database that I have set up and synchronized. Shouldn't it just open the POS in off-line mode automatically? Everything for Off-line is set up in administrator (as far as I can tell).

You are both correct, thanks for the information. I did try it a few minutes after I posted the question and it worked.

My customers love waiting in line for an extra five minutes while all of us stand around the computer watching it do nothing, it's their favorite to spend time!

Kris,

You may be able to shorten the amount of time by changing the Connection time out back to 15 on both the Database and Offline tabs in Administator. In RMS 2.0 those fields are now defaulting to 60.
