We have a situation where we use RMS for a Brick and Mortar store and three online stores. We use sales rep to distinguish one sales channel from another. What I would like to do is use the data in the sales rep field to customize the store name for individual reciepts. I imagine that a well written IF THEN statement in our reciept could pull this off. Would this be workable?
This of course leads to a need for several customized reciepts/workorders... any takers?
Akber, thanks for the response but reviewing it I realized we do NOT use the sales rep field to distinguish between sales channels we use the Reference field under details. In the reference field we put a three letter code, CBS, CFG, RPS, or VIN to separate work orders by sales channel. This would be the variable that would need referenced as part of the reiept printing process. For example if the refernce field contains VIN print Vineyard as the store name. All the other addres information is the same but customer service phone numbers may be different based on the store name. I lack the XML skills to put this together. Suggestions, volunteers, independent contractors? I have the need for several customized reciepts/workorders.
