Will 2 POS stations/2 cash drawers work with one receipt printer?

Sure it works. Use a Windo$e driver for the printer. Install the printer on the first machine and share it (right click on it, sharing tab). Go to the other machine, Start | Settings Printers | if you are using XP, after about a minute, the printer should be listed as | I always rename (right click on it - rename) this printer (short and no spaces) | set it up like your station (right click on it - properties) that the printer is attached to, like print quality, cash drawer settings, etc | SO Manager | Database | Registers | select the register | Properties | Check Windo$e printer | Type in the name of the printer.
