What is the point of ZZing out registers and is it really necessary since you can get (most) all the same information from the reports in SO Manager?

Dear Alex, The purpose of ZZ and Z report is to close out your day and reconcile your cash/credit /and debit card etc. I agree that similar information can be get from reports in SO Manager.
The z report close the single also multi shift if you are running 2 shift and 2 different people are working then each one will run the Z report to reconcile their day end. However ZZ report is an optional and will provide you to close 2 shift together it function is same as Z report
