I forgotr to say that I am using QB Pro 2007
I don't have a clue since I don't use the feature. I have a batch file that backs up my files to a second drive in just a couple of seconds.
The only reason I replied is because no one esle has and I don't want you to think that no one reads these messages

When you make the backup, how do you name it?
What would happen if you named them Backup1, Backup2, Backup3 and then the next time, renamed them Backup1, Backup2, Backup3 again? Just a thought. When I make my backups, I tell it what to call it and where to save it each time.
