When I have a customer that has a credit for one job, it is a royal pain to apply it to another job. Since I really don't need to keep track of individual jobs, is there a way to combine all the jobs for a customer to one job or no jobs?
I have 2005 Basic and soon to go to 2006 Pro.

Rename one job, giving it the same name as another. You will be asked if you wish to merge the 2 jobs.

I'm using QB Premier-Manufacturing 2004 and have a similar question about credits. I have a main billing customer who is responsible for all of the "jobs=stores". I have had a recall of a product and have credit memos for each "job=store" but some of the product was already paid for so some of the credits are left over for each store. After applying the credits, how do I give a refund for the balance to the main billable customer? Do I have to make separate refund checks for each "job=store" or can I write one check made out to the main customer?
