pcamerica software

Has anyone a good idea of how to export the inventory data files in the CRE prgm , then modify them and then import them back to the main CRE prgm? The usuers manual claims this is doable but the actual prgm does not ahve this built in. Thanks for your help.

our qb2pos works directly with CRE2004/05. We can also handle inventory moves if required.

This is for a very small business, we cannot afford to keep buying software. We are looking for a solution within the PCamerica software or just using the data files.

The backend is Access 2000 MDB files. You just need Access to write some update queries to hand the changes.

What is Access 2000? What is a MDB file ( format etc? ) and where do I get Access 2000? Thanks for input?

Access is the Microsoft database program. Often and most commonly is a part of the Office Suite.

Access 2000 format is the backend database for PC America. You can purchase the Access Program from any local store. (Current version is Access 2003). Ok that said your a newbie with Access so your not going to have much luck hunting thru the tables and the hows to do what you wish.

You should ask your reseller to help you. Now PC America is going to charge you $$$ I would find a local person that understands Access well. Remember your going to pay for the time for that person to figure out CRE backend. Now if you wish we could like I send bang together and provide a runtime of access if needed. We specialize in custom apps and have worked with CRE and made a direct link with Quickbooks for users (not just an import tool but ODBC live data). If you have more questions please email me from our site.

Greg
