dumb question - keyboard shortcut on chart of accounts

May 12, 2005 2 Replies

Sorry to bring up such a trivial question, but this is something that has always annoyed me and I wanted to find out the answer, because I prefer working without a mouse whenever possible. Btw, I'm using QB Pro 2003

In the chart of accounts, I can't figure out what the hotkey would be to open up an account, on the menu it says Ctrl-U, but that doesn't work nor does the logical Enter key (which just opens up the menu) - am I the only one Ctrl-U doesn't work for? The other shortcuts, like Ctrl-N/Ctrl-D do work, so it's always bothered me that I have to still use the mouse for such a simple thing.

Thanks to whoever knows the answer.

CTRL + R will open the register (of asset, liability and equity accounts) while CTRL + Q will open the QuickReport for the account.
