I tried the rebuild my data file, got an error cu.
I have another QB file, and it worked fine, so the problem seems to be with my other QB file.
What should I do now?

In matters of this nature, along with relationship problems, food storage, otter pelt preparation, and which end of the nail to hit with a hammer, I often turn to God. If that process is not forthcoming, I consult Google.

Searching for QBWIN.LOG shows an error on the date, amount, etc. So I just went into QB, found the transaction, and double checked it, fixed the input error, and it was able to rebuild/verify after.
