Expiration and Aspiration

I'm running QB Pro 2007. When does online (transaction download) support for this version expire? Also, is 2010 worth upgrading to (or should I look for a copy of 2009 or 2008 on ebay?) Any caveats to 2010?

Thanks!

Intuit will sunset version 2007 May 31, 2010.

2008 improves on 2007 and 2009 improves on 2008 and 2010 improves on 2009.

Thanks!

Kind of a generalzation...

But anyway, the good news is that I found 2010 pro at Sam's for $84! I can't say why it was so cheap, but the box they brought out at the register had the normal $144 price on it, so I saved about %40! (yes, the display box was marked at $84, so the cashier didn't make a mistake.)

Thanks, Mikel

The last Pro 2010 I picked up for one of my clients cost 74.89 after sales tax at Staples. $84.00 is also well worth the investment. Just the bump up in the database engine used by 2010 is reason enough to upgrade.

Having installed it, I have to say thatI really like what I see. I esp. like the company snapshot. It did lockup a time or to, the 2nd of which forced me to manually shut down and reboot, but that may be because I didn't restart after the install (nor did it ask to do so...). It hasn't happened since, though (I haven't used it extensively...hopefully, no more crashes).

Thanks for your opinion.

Mikel
