Free QuickBooks Pro - New low for Intuit and Staples

If you received the promotional offer (see email below) from Intuit for a free copy of QBPro today (12/22)...make sure that Staples has a copy before you waste your time. Supplies were out from the store I visited and the web site shows out of stock and doesn't let you place an order. For me...this is a new marketing low for Intuit. No rain- check or web availability is a farce. I'm sure that supplies will soon be available (after the offer expires).

Ditto.

Wasted an hour running to the local Staples -- out-of-stock. Staples.com also out-of-stock.

I wouldn't expect anything less from big box and and intuit.

I didn't miss it because I wasn't looking to buy it. But it was a promotion aimed at business owners not a consumer style "black friday" we only have two of each item and you may have to kill someone to get one (as in walmart on LI). Nothing indicated that quantiles were limited. As I said it is just more of big box companies just playing with people because they can.
