Hiding Mfr Part Numbers ?

My customers call me for unique items that I order from various manufacturers. I do not like the idea of handing over manufacturer part numbers (unless specifically asked). I created a custom item field called Mfr PartNo.

Is it possible to run reports showing this custom field? Can I search via custom field?

Yes you can.

You can only lookup on the name field.
