I have a customer with computer that wont boot to windows. Before I start tinkering and figuring out what is wrong or doing a fresh install, I need to back up all her data. Can anyone tell me where the Quickbooks data files are usually stored and which ones to back up. Thank you your help is greatly appreciated.

The file(s) you are looking for all have the extension .QBW You might pick up any .QBB while you are at it (those are backup files). The data files can reside anywhere, but they default to C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Pro\ (if you have QB Pro)
