I am using 2008 Pro Version.
Is there a shortcut for new general joural entries. I prefer to do all my entries using the general journal but am finding Company >>
Make General Journal Entries... an annoying process.
Does anyone know a shortcut? Even getting it on to the icon bar would be helpful.

Did you know that many of us watch this board in the hope of learning something useful, not just to ask the occasional question? So letting the potential answerers know that you found a solution is very nice, but letting the rest of us know what that solution is would be even nicer.

It also would not hurt if we knew the reason for entering everything as a journal entry.
