Newbie - creating invoices based on a timesheet?

Not sure what group this should go in, I'm using quickbooks for the first time today.

I currently bill my clients based on what time I check in to their office and out and bill for a week.

I've included the XLS spreadsheet I currently use -

This is a very easy way for my clients to see the specifics of a day based on the hours and I don't have to spend all my day tracking hours, they just want the time in and time out and the basics of what I did that day. I don't need to track the exact number of hours I did any specific task for any or all clients throughout the year - it would be counter productive to track such minutia so I'd rather the details be free-form like I can do now in excel.

As you can see it is a very easy form for me to fill out and creates a bill with very little effort. I've been playing with quickbooks for a while now and this ability doesn't seem to be as easy for me to figure out as it was in excel. I need to bill by the 1/4 hour.

Thanks for your help - I'm about ready to go back to using Excel. I know quick books can do a lot but the only thing I want it to do, I can't figure out.

I am more than a little hesitant to open this file. Perhaps the California Girls should try it first.
