Hi there, Can anyone recommend an online training course in QuickBooks for a non-accountant? I checked out my local community college, and the courses they offer seem great. but I cannot commit to an entire semester of classes!
So, choice #1 would be an online course, #2 would be a weekend training seminar somewhere in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area.

It's not like you'd get fired if you didn't show up. One class is better than none, two is even better, and so on.
No, best is to have an expert - or at least someone pretty good - come to your place, help you set up your accounts, and show you how to do the routine stuff.
