It there news on the 2006 R5 patch?

Some time over the weekend, the message that "The QuickBooks



2006 and Enterprise 6.0 R5 Manual Download is temporarily unavailable. Please check back later. We are sorry for the inconvenience." appeared in place of the manual download link. I was not able to find an explanation on the website. The only thing that makes sense to me is that some significant bug(s) have surfaced in the R5 patch.

Has anyone heard anything about what is going on from any reliable sources at Intuit?

Didn't they skip R5 and go directly to R6?

Because by Monday it was available in the automatic update section.

What does it being available via automatic update have to do with it? Normally the latest manual patch file is always available.
