QB Pro 2006 Invoice Question

I just srarted using Quick Books Pro and I was wondering if there was any way to put multiple estimates on one invoice. I run a HVAC company and we have multiple estimates per Contractor and I just need to have it all on one invoice rather than a million diffrent ones.

You can copy info from each estimate and paste it into a single invoice. Otherwise, no. And why would you want to, as Steve said?

And if you have a million estimates in process, QuickBooks is the wrong software for you!

No, there is not.

No, you don't.

From the QB help file: "QuickBooks estimates are required for progress invoicing and for creating the Job Estimates vs. Actuals Summary and Detail reports."

What this means to you;

- each estimate is a new customer:job

- estimates are required to take advantage of progress invoices

If your requirements are to have your charges for multiple completed estimates to be grouped together, look to creating statements. Statements allow you to show your customer an entire "bill" for services, while still maintaining the integrity of your estimates/job orders.
