I have just been given my year end ajusting entries by my Accountant. In them is a new account called Operations. Would that be set up as an Other Expense?

I suggest you ask your accountant to be more specific.
Ask the accountant first. Its not unusual for accountants to use different account numbers and names when making AJEs. Oftentimes you'll already have an existing account for the AJE, the accountant just called it something different.

Why in the world are you posting this question? Did your accountant die after tax season. If so please send my condolances to his/her family. If your accountant has not passed away then ask him/her.
