Positive Pay Support

Many banks have a nice security option known as positive pay. You feed them a list of your check numbers and the dollar amounts on those checks. Everything else they reject automatically. That one move alone gets rid of

98% of all check fraud that doesn't come from inside the company.

What features if any would the latest versions of Quickbooks have to support this? I need to quickly generate exportable files with the check number and the dollar amount, probably in a CSV format, to upload to the bank.

I would start with running a Check detail report and exporting it to excel. You may need to modify the report so that it only includes appropriate transaction types.

You are not going to find this feature in QuickBooks. However, if your looking for a great third party QB add-on product that will generate a positive pay file as one of it's many features then I recomend PrintBoss from Wellspring Software.
