print to word

I upgraded from Pro 99 to Pro 2006 and now I can't print to MS Word 97 anymore. The program help does not help: it requires upgrading. Does anyone know of a work around that will not involve upgrading office? I am confortable editing the register if necessary.

I have a technical background and I remember from school that it used to be a requirement on newly designed electronics to be compatible with what was already in use. That is why color tv transmissions could be seen on black and white on B&W TV receivers, etc. I think Intuit is an exception to the rule.

Ya know, I am not an Intuit apologist, by any means.

That said, your expectations are ludicrous.

You expect backwards compatability with software a decade old?

How's it working for you, trying to fit your White album into the cd slot?

That is also why we had to put up with shit sound and pictures for so many years. Lets hope an prey that our kids don't have to wait another 50 years for the next generation of TV sight and sound.

Allan,

Do you mean hope and pray?

I hope so.

No one on the planet wants to "print to Word." This is but an intermediary step to some other desired end. Tell us the eventual result you need and perhaps there is an alternative path.

I have a digital clock. There is nowhere on the clock into which I can plug a 6AU6 tube (valve). I have been cheated.
